Today I had the opportunity to collect food orders, serve food and pass out drinks to the residents of Opportunity Towers and celebrate the holidays with the members of Rhema Deliverance.
I was able to volunteer and serve breakfast as well as wipe down tables in the cafeteria before my classes today. The staff enjoyed my company and was pleased to have me this morning.
On thanksgiving day, it was a honor to serve the community and donate scarfs and hats to people in need.
Helping set up for Jenks Academy for the Arts and Sciences annual color day was a very fun and yet hard working task. I was able to help set up different outdoor activities for the students, pass out refreshments and food, and I even helped in keeping children engaged in the activities. It was a success!
