Lincoln Scholars Undergraduate Research Call for Proposals

Thank you for your interest in the Lincoln Scholars Undergraduate Research grant. This grant is sponsored by the Center for Undergraduate Research and is open to students from all classifications and disciplines who meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of application:
2.5 GPA
Applying to conduct research under the guidance of a faculty mentor
Have not previously received a grant through the Lincoln Scholars program
The purpose of the Lincoln Scholars Undergraduate Research grant is to foster undergraduate research across the curriculum at Lincoln University for all students. In order to ensure equitable distribution of funding across departments and programs, we will accept proposals from the following tracks:
Arts & Humanities
Business Administration
Communication and Journalism
Community-based
Education and Human Performance
Health and Public Affairs
Social and Behavioral Sciences
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
Each faculty-student mentored project proposal will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Originality and depth of project; amount of research completed/breadth of research
Feasibility of project objective 
Social and educational impact of the project; significance of the project in furthering the student's research skills and abilities
A letter of recommendation from the student's research mentor
All proposals will go through a complete review process and the top twenty proposals will be selected for funding.
Student awardees will receive a grant of up to $600 paid in two increments  and faculty mentors will receive a grant of  up $800. 
Please be advised that students who are receiving other funding other federal funded programs such as NSF and NIH are not eligible to receive funding through this program. The Lincoln Scholars Undergraduate Research Scholars grant only supports current and ongoing research or creative projects at Lincoln University.
Requirement Details
This grant is sponsored by the Center for Undergraduate Research and is open to students from all classifications and disciplines who meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of application:
• 2.5 GPA
• Applying to conduct research under the guidance of a faculty mentor
• Have not previously received a grant through the Lincoln Scholars program
Students must apply with a faculty mentor who will serve as a guide throughout the entire research engagement.
Perks
Student awardees will receive a stipend up to $600 paid in two increments and faculty mentors will receive compensation (extra pay) up to $800.
