Description
Do you need community service hours?  Do you want to be able to help another student who may be struggling in a course?

We are looking for students who have 3.3 GPA or higher to tutor fellow students.  You will tutor in a course in your major that you have demonstrated proficient knowledge.  The tutoring days and times will be based on your schedule and availability.

You can tutor how much or how little you would like....IT'S UP TO YOU!!!

All tutoring will take place in Wright Hall, 2nd floor AND is managed by Office of Academic Support.  Volunteer/Tutoring hours will be tracked via online database.  As your class dean I will also enter your impact hours into Engage Lincoln Lions platform.  This platform tracks all of your impact hours through graduation.  It will serve as an ENGAGEMENT COMMUNITY SERVICE TRANSCRIPT.

THINK ABOUT YOUR FUTURE:  Community Service looks great on your RESUME, LETTERS OF INTENT, GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATIONS, SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS, INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS, AND GREAT WAY TO GET LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATIONS.

I'm interested, what do I do next?

  1. Register for this event through Engage Lincoln Lions
  2. You will be contacted by Academic Support Unit
Academic Support will verify the courses you are eligible to tutor
              Provide tutor training

      3. Earn community service hours!
