Description of duties and responsibilities associated with the position and how they relate to the purpose/role

  • Will assist the Youth Development/Family Engagement Coordinator in different activities
  • Assist with planning and researching information for event planning
  • Interact with high school students to contribute in creating a conducive and welcoming environment in the H2O Room
  • Providing support to staff and students
  • Assisting with collecting and managing data
  • Discover what types of opportunities students would like to have with H2O

General qualifications/requirements for the position

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently Enrolled in Brown University
  • Interest in working with a non-profit organization that works with high school students

 Hourly pay rate for the position (guidance on setting the hourly rate of pay based on responsibilities can be found here)

  • $12.45 per hour

Length of employment (Beginning and ending dates, specify semester(s))

  • Sept 17th – May 3rd

 Estimated/desired number of hours per week

  • 4-5 hours per week

Desired student work schedule

  • Flexible, generally between 9-5
